A pricking sensation will be experienced during the treatment as the treatment head is moved across the area. After treatment, the area will be reddened because of the heat introduced into the area. This will quickly fade. There is no longer any risk of long term term pigmentation change in the skin nor any scarring as this new generation of IPL machines enables the follicle to be treated without heating the skin to avaoid any damage. .IPL treatment for rosacea |

IPL is an effective treatment for rosacea. The light beam can be programmed to elliminate the ultra-fine capillary veins that are associated with rosaces, without any damage to the surrounding areas. The treatment is quick and efective with only a mild reddinging of the area post treatment which quickly fades. Exposure to sunlight should be avoided during a course of trereatment and several sessions may be required to reduce the appearance of rosacea to an accptable level. |
